Bruising the ribs hurts like hell and can take weeks to heal. I got slammed inside an automatic door and bruised mine.
Naturally, they give no pain relief! This is happening more and more, and even after surgery.
Time, rest, ice, a wrap, whatever helps. Hope you feel better! 🫂
