Can Repeated Shoulder Surgeries Cause Chronic Pain??
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had 5 surgeries on my right shoulder. 2 rotator cuff repairs. Both failed and lead to AVN. Which then lead to reverse Total Shoulder Replacement. The pain is still there. University of Iowa doctors say another surgery will happen. The ball part of the implant is loose. How much more can a girl take?

Yes, as the scar tissue following surgery is main source of discomfort. Your smart to weigh out the differences. Hugs, Kathy

It would make sense that it would. Any time you have an injury, I know it ends up hurting forever. I’m sorry you’re hurting and I empathize
