Medication!! I can’t even get medication unless I say I have opiate use disorder?? WTF? All local pain clinics that actually do prescribe opiates accepts NO insurance and it’s expensive! Others use injections, ablation, PT, OT, and all this new meditation and “ it’s your brain “ BS. I did a 3 day Fibromyalgia clinic at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville which really wasn’t for me as even the teachers realized I had multiple issues on top of FM. Now they want me to attend a 16 day clinic that uses PT, OT, stretching, breathing, all the woo woo crap 💩 poo! Plus I live 2 1/2 hours from there so lodging at $175-$200+ for 16 days???? Oh they will help you get OFF opiates? No trust or respect from any of these doctors as they are all petrified to prescribe any of the pain meds that work as we know yet because a bunch of people decided to use street drugs and are overdosing the people who genuinely suffer and are responsible with their meds and understand the dangers get screwed!! Even after CDC changed guidelines the latest data indicates an upward projectary of abuse and OD. While I read story after story of those who have been hurt by their guidelines and they know this. Will they adapt and hear those who genuinely need help or continue with their agenda because like everything $$$$$$$!! Somewhere somehow it’s always seemed to be in large part about $! A fellow chronic pain sufferer, Dave (Dave’s not here) ✌️. Totally feel ya. Hope it gets better and you feel better.
