Your health must be your priority, explain that to them. That the toll on your health is not worth the pain and suffering you may experience doing what they want you to do. If they do not accept that, then maybe they do not honor your condition and health as being more important to you than their dog is to them.

This is just my opinion so take it as so. 😊 🥰

My 40yr old daughter leans on me for physical help. Mainly babysitting her 38# Frenchie. If I am only in moderate pain when she calls me, I am in severe pain before she is back. He is young and loveable. But pulls on my back walking him.
I never say no.
