I know the song and dance all too well. The friends I live with constantly grunt and groan because they’re in pain, but I choose to suffer in silence. They have told me me that I don’t know what real pain is.
Please take care of yourself and be strong.

My mother constantly compares her pain to mine. She had polio as a child and does contend with pain, but it’s not fair to compare. No one is worse off. It sucks for all of us. That’s my thought on the matter.
