Sciatica Pain In The Right Thigh Muscle And Lumbar Spine
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have had Sciatica pain for a few weeks now in my right thigh muscle and it gets very sore and weak by the afternoon. I have been massaging Anti Inflamation gel into it and today it’s been massaged with FisioCrem a natural Arnica, Calendula and Hypercuim cream into it. I am waiting to get a referral from my doctor for Xrays and he’s talking about injections. What is your opinion on this problem which I have had previously.

Comments From People That Have Weaned Off Of Narcotics By Your Choice.
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Lately it seems as though there are several people weaning off medications by their own personal choice. I'm not referring to those of you that are being forced to get off of meds. I'd be interested in hearing your results; comments. If you have been force to get off of narcotics and had good results, please share. Jean

Question Regarding Maintaining Income When Pain And Illness Prevent Financial Stability
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I’m wondering what others do when disability is denied (I’ve appealed and am waiting for my court date) how do you find ways to make money if you’re unable to work full time, or unable to work outside your home? I’ve seen various work at home ideas, but most require a computer and internet service. I have internet on my phone but currently no computer and no internet or WiFi in my home. Suggestions are welcome. Thank you!!!
God bless and have a great rest of the week!!!

How Do You Deal With People Staring At You And Giving You Advice All The Time?
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am 21 years old and I have been suffering from chronic back pain for the past four years. I has gotten worse these past 4 months and it's started affecting my legs as well so I use a walking stick to get around whenever I need to leave the house. I have noticed that whenever i walk into a room people would literally stop whatever they're doing and they'd just stare at me. The staring gets even worse when children start pointing at me. This has really affected my self esteem in a great way and… read more

How Do L Get To Sleep With Back Pain
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have fractures to lumbar spine 1&4, a bad crush fracture to the Thoracic 10 and 11, a wedge fracture in my shoulder blade area and Scoliosis plus Osteoporosis and Osteo Arthritis so l give in around 9pm and go to bed, but it takes ages to relax and get comfortable
The psychological dept at the Persistent Pain Clinic at the Nambour Hospital suggested staying up later to around 10pm or later. I doze until around 2am when l go to the toilet and then I take 2 Panadol Osteo and sleep deeper until… read more
