Members connected over the shared experience of labral tears and hip pain, with many describing the constant, sharp, and sometimes debilitating discomfort that affects walking, sitting, and daily activities. Several members shared that steroid injections provided little to no relief, with some mentioning that doctors either recommended against surgery or felt it wouldn't help, leaving many to manage the pain through rest, heat packs, mobility aids, or upcoming procedures. A recurring theme was the frustration of living with chronic pain that limits movement and independence, yet finding solidarity in knowing others truly understand the struggle.

I have bilateral bursitis and tears, causes so much pain in my hips, saw an ortho, said nothing they can do for it, and it is just wear and tear issue - i have had several injections into the joint to help with pain, not really sure that it works, but that is what they recommended, good luck
