Members shared their struggles with caffeine having little to no effect on severe fatigue, with many finding that it sometimes causes crashes or anxiety instead of providing energy. Several members offered practical alternatives including short daily walks outdoors, fruit smoothies (especially with oranges), pre-workout supplements from health food stores, and checking vitamin levels like magnesium, vitamin D, and iron. A recurring theme was the importance of getting a sleep study to rule out conditions like sleep apnea or fragmented sleep disorder, as understanding the root cause helped many members finally move forward with proper treatment.

I just had another thought lol.
I have fruit smoothies that help me to stay awake. I just put whatever fruit I have in the blender thingie. I always have oranges in it so maybe it's that. Xx

@A MyChronicPainTeam Member well we didn't know that I had it until after the sleep study. I was sleeping 23 hours a day and we couldn't figure it out. having a sleep study can also rule out sleep apnea and other things that are important to deciding on treatment!

Have you got a sleep study if this is consistent? I have severe fragmented sleep disorder and struggled with the same issues. Having a sleep study helped me move forward with treatment and helped a lot!
