Decompression Therapy
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi, has anyone tried spinal disc decompression therapy. My mother gave me a leaflet about it and I am very cautious about trying treatments for my back pain in case it makes it worse. Does this therapy work as I am at the point where I will try anything to ease the constant pain

I personally don't know, but I know someone who has a spinal condition that may know... I will ask her and let you know what I find out

Please don't do this! If you want to try something, try OMT treatments! You will need to see if you have a D.O. (Dr. of Osteopathy) in your area!

I heard of this but I would get several opinions before having something done like that one wrong move and you may be in more trouble. Good luck

My radar goes up with anything spinal manipulation as it can have some very unwanted consequences. Laser therapy is great in that it's not so intrusive but is accurately aimed at the acupuncture meridians.
