Members shared that they joined this chronic pain community primarily to connect with others who truly understand the relentless reality of living with constant pain, the isolation of being homebound or wheelchair-bound, and the exhaustion of being dismissed or misunderstood by those who have never experienced it. Several members expressed how healing it is to share struggles without judgment, to realize they are not alone, and to both give and receive support from people who genuinely get it, with some noting the added benefit of learning about new treatments and coping strategies. A recurring theme was the dual need for companionship and validation, with many describing the community as a lifeline that helps them feel less worthless, less invisible, and more empowered to keep fighting each day.

My fiancé does not have ant teeth and I am very attracted to him. It's his heart. I don't even notice the lack of teeth. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL whether you believe it or not

To be able to speak to others who understand the crap we are put through by living with the constant chronic pain. To be able to say I'm having a crappy painful day and not have people say oh you're a hypochondriac or something pathetic like that. To make new friends as well 😃

To know that I'm not alone and also if others are having problems with their condition I was always told a problem solved is a problem halved lol I wish half of me would stop hurting .Also if there are new treatments or therapies that I haven't tried it would help .

I also want to not feel so worthless and useless and be able to help others come to terms with how they feel. To help others realise that they're not alone.
It's a two way thing, I get great support and understanding from others but I can also give it if I can as well.
