Members clarified confusion about whether MyChronicPainTeam and MyDepressionTeam are connected, confirming that both sites share the same format and are part of a larger network of condition-specific communities run by MyHealthTeams, which also includes groups like MySpondylitisTeam. Several members offered welcoming guidance to newcomers, explaining that building a team means adding people you connect with personally, whether through shared conditions, similar outlooks, or mutual support, and encouraging new members to fill out their profiles to help others understand their journey. A recurring theme was the warmth and nonjudgmental nature of these communities, where members truly understand each other's struggles and offer genuine solidarity.

I did a search. This was a small start up business in california which began with social page for patents of children with autism.
Their mission is to open channels and get information flowing between people who have similar health conditions. People who truly 'get' each other to increase support and social contact. Their goal is to have their sites prescribed!
They have loads of sites all similar and all specific but I think it's possibly helpful for patients to join and link up in whichever and however many sites they think can help or they feel they can contribute to.
Here is the umbrella site
