Palexia is a central acrimonious analgesic of the benzene family. It begins working within 32 minutes of ingestion and lastsb4 - 6 hours. It is similar to tramadol in its dual mechanism. Due to its duality it is a significantly more potent opioid. It's potency is somewhere between that of tramadol and morphine with an analgesic efficacy comparable to that of oxymoron despite a lower incidence of side affects. Hope this helps some.

I am on Palexia and have been for nearly 2 years. It allows me to do small things and be a person. I find it useful, I hope you do too. It takes a while to get used to, 6 weeks ish. Very few side effects in comparison to other pain meds. Starts on a low dose which can be increased if required but try and manage on as low as you can because when you get to the max there is very little else. Good luck @A MyChronicPainTeam Member

I have been on Norco 10/325 8 per day along with Soma 4 a day since 2002. Now I see a pain mgmt doc and a few months ago, they decided they would no longer prescribe Soma! For ANY of their patients. So we went thru a bunch of different muscle relaxers and they're all crap for me. I hope no one else has run across this. I haven't heard of the med you mentioned but if you type it in Google it will come up with a site like rxlist.com and give all the information.

OxyContin worked very well for me too, but my Insurance won't pay for it anymore. I was on Morphine after that, it didn't work as well. Now my new pain management specialist has me on Hydrocodone 10/325. It doesn't work well at all, but she keeps putting me off when I ask for some med that will lessen the pain.
