30 years with disease...looking for others who suffer as well..
Here in the US, Amitriptyline is used off label for pain. I have read it can help with Interstitial Cystitis. It's also an antidepressant, that is the 'main' use. But it is used a lot also for pain. I take it off label for a rare disorder I have called Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome, and it works for that for me also. It can't hurt to Google Amitriptyline for your disorder. The brand name is Elavil. HTH!
Cranberry tablets & boric acid olive oil in oxide script for compounding chemist in Australia but I heard over counter in US?? As it's fungus need antifungal to counteract, also boric lozengers suck on as it's systemic. Hope helps?
Thank you i took it for 10 years now i take Nortipline
@A MyChronicPainTeam Member..the ONE thing you never take, drink or eat when you have IC is anything with cranberry in it. It's like pouring acid on your bladder.
Oh dear, I'm sorry!! I hope someone who suffers with this answers your post. Maybe repost it so it comes to the top? Sending blessings to you and hope you find some pain relief!!
