UGH! Yes and NO ---now how do you do----like that one. Yes I gained some wt. No I did not get fat. Yes I find it harder to lose the weight now but---I find I can manage the weight. I suppose when on so many darn pain killers, the metabolic rate goes "KERPOW" and there you are staggering around and not able to Exercise like you did before the lousy pain set in due to injury or illness. PHOOEY!! I just wanna be pain free OH LORD HELP US!!! SO I do the best I can with what I have like isometrics, walking even if I staaaaaagger hee hee! Stay far away from sugar and fatty stuff unless it has plenty of polyunsaturated fats or monounsaturated fats etc....OH and if yer gettin older instead of younger----like most of us----that doesn't help either. WHAT makes this very difficult is the ugly dad-burned PAIN..... NOW ya'll have a great day. Bless you all

Been prescribed so many meds by doctors who tell me that this medication is going to make me very hungry, but they want me to lose weight. Are you kidding me! What nitwits! I wish they would just listen to themselves spew out this rubbish!
Rant is over. I'm sorry I got a little unglued. ❤

I have been whining about losing 100 pounds. Grant it, I am a man but makes me feel whimpy. If everyone is gsining, does that make me the only loser.
Just a little GOOD Morning humor.. Love all of you. If anyone ever needs a good 2 ears, I may not have the correct answers, but I will always listen. AnD that is for people embarrassed to post to the publc. God knows, I have held stupid things in. There is nothing I have ever said or heard. Many times, I asked my doc to amputate my arm. And that is nothing I would write out loud... Love everyone in this group. We are all here for a common purpose, and maybe a tad different.
I am like every day, going to try to make this the best day in a long time. It might not happen but, tomorrow....I have the same morning affermation.
Love you all

Not only is it almost legal here in Canada, but I still advise getting a Medical Marijuana prescription. The medical user is and will be treated differently even in Canada. Just ask your pain doctor to provide, they want you to be out of pain. Teach you current one or find a more enlightened doctor.

no - i'm on very little meds... nothing for the pain - maybe a hydrocodone 1 or 2 times every other week or so. i had a drug overdose on those - came within a hair of dying - so no more of those !! well, other than what i just said. blood pressure, prozac, and some natural vitamins - i go to a holoistic doctor and she has me on some great vitamins that i needed. i never buy over the counter drugs at all.... you don't know what they are really made of !!!!! well, i do some as i researched them. but i did lose 50 pounds last year and so far keeping it off. happy about that !
