Good morning i did know someone who had this surgery it was very hard for her because the diet is so had to stick with she could not drink sodas or beer but she was doing good with it i have not been in touch with her so not she how she is doing now and another person would not follow the diet and had a lot of issues

My daughters friend has had it i will try to find before to present pictures she looks amazing i couldnt be more proud of her she did and is doing great from the surgery she worksout daily her name is heather very proud of that girl.

You can drink soda as long as you stir away the fizz of it.

yes, I do know People that have had the Surgery , they lost a lot of weight iin a short time , how ever , fast forward 15 yrs - they found a way to go back and eat what they wanted , and the excuse was , oh, no , I didnt feel comfortable at the new weight . it wasnt me .

I know 2 people who had the gastric bypass surgery.They both weight around 350 and got down 170-180 BUT they ate like birds.Like Jens4the9ers said you are not allowed to have soda/alcohol.If you eat to much you end up vomiting,you drink (water) to fast/to much at once you throw up.
Just to give heads up there was a show on that I saw ,"A women who had this surgery ended up turning to alcohol & pills to fill the food addiction."
Know the 2 women I know the 1 ended up being an alcoholic,because after 3 yrs. she started to gain weight and the beer filled her.
She loved food therefor she had an addiction behavior,there is a fine line and a lot of will power.Good Luck.
