I'm curious to know if anyone will be willing to share if they have ever had weight loss surgery or have they know someone close to them has had it I was curious about the actual weight loss process and if anyone has had great success or failure after it? I know it is a serious process and NOT a easy way out like Others May perceive it to be.

You can drink soda as long as you stir away the fizz of it.
yes, I do know People that have had the Surgery , they lost a lot of weight iin a short time , how ever , fast forward 15 yrs - they found a way to go back and eat what they wanted , and the excuse was , oh, no , I didnt feel comfortable at the new weight . it wasnt me .
I know 2 people who had the gastric bypass surgery. They both weight around 350 and got down 170-180 BUT they ate like birds.Like Jens4the9ers said you are not allowed to have soda/alcohol.If you eat to much you end up vomiting, you drink (water) to fast/to much at once you throw up.
Just to give heads up there was a show on that I saw ,"A women who had this surgery ended up turning to alcohol & pills to fill the food addiction."
Know the 2 women I know the 1 ended up being an alcoholic, because after 3 yrs. she started to gain weight and the beer filled her.
She loved food therefor she had an addiction behavior, there is a fine line and a lot of will power.Good Luck.
