When I get called to the exam room I'm maybe in their a full 5 minutes. They check my blood pressure, write out a new script for the month and then schedule my next appointment. Their is no talk of possible therapy, goals or a care plan. It's been this way since our first appointment 3 months ago. I was really fooled by his business card that reads complete… read more

Same in Kentucky. Been dealing with it for months. Now a new Bill is being passed that I/we (my 64 y/o mom as well) have to get a new written opioid prescription every 3 days. Yea.
Its awesome when you dont drive and try to take care of 2 other people. This is gonna be a great time. Ive written every person in office in Kentucky.
Our Governor is too busy giving junkies Narcan and needles while in the meantime...I lay in bed.
Thanks for nothin.

Friends,March 14,last day for public input on CMS adopting CDC strict OPIOID prescribing mandates. Please go to Painnetworknews.com.We must keep letters going! My BCBS Medicare advantage plan,is dictating what n how much Opioids my Dr.can prescribe. This month my psych meds needed prior authorization. Medication been taken for years.Cash price, I could no longer afford.Requested prior authorization form be sent to Drs office.Lady acted like she never heard of one! My doctor sent letter 4 days later.Goodbye,he can't manage my meds any longer! Tennessee's got me looking forward to moving to Georgia, where Kratom is still legal. We got to stick together.Action.Please keep writing your local, state and federal government demanding government and insurance companies get out of dictating our doctor/ patient decisions to choose what is best for us.Time is running against us.Hugs and prayers
