Bread, coffee, table top sugar & salt. animal flesh & animal by-products. I've done tons of research on American foods. I use alot of turmeric root, ginger, in my foods drink lemon water with alittle stevia. I take hot baths with 6 cups of epson salt & 2-3 cups baking soda it works great on inflammation & detoxing.

Speaking only for myself-gluten, sugar, packaged meals frozen or any other type. MSG is a no-no. The healthy/favorite food that causes me severe flare/pain is anything in the Nightshade Family which really surprised me...All I truly miss are peppers and it took me quite a while to pin-point this one. Also for any smokers tobacco is also in the Nightshade family. Also artificial sweeteners are known to cause pain to be worse-can make joint pain worse.

We are not wired the same and what works for some may not work for another...best I can suggest is to listen to your body.

@A MyChronicPainTeam Member very wise answer yes water is one of the best drinks out there. and we are mostly made of water. many people think drinking juice is healthy but it is loaded with sugar, not saying perhaps spinach juice is bad but doesn't have the fiber that we need. juice is pushed as healthy by the juice industry. remember critical thinking . yes, if have to make juice best to make own and not add extra sugars or sweeteners. When naturally grown and especially if lucky enough to be vine ripened fruit and veggies at their peak give the best nutrition. most of us have to rely on mass produced pesticide ridden and picked before ripe fruits especially. But if you are lucky enough to grow your own or know someone treasure it. Next year i am going to grow some fruit in a pot some cherry tomato plants. yes, tomatoes are a fruit anything that is has a seed is technically a fruit. a shoot, stem, leaf, root, bulb, or, tuber, (i think) are technically vegetables. oh to add on to making own juice too the equipment to make own juice is expensive and has many parts and is high maintenance.

Hey Michele the knowing say sweets n acids enhance pain actually. Practising drinking water is the best n make own juice. Very difficult to keep that schedule 😊😉

Sugar, caffeine and dairy!!! Also for certain diseases, there are dietary suggestions, for instance I have Ankylosing spondylis and am now trying a low starch diet to reduce pain and inflammation as they found a bacteria in people with AS that thrives on starch (a bad bacteria)
