Members responded to someone newly diagnosed with fibromyalgia who was experiencing morning nausea, with several sharing that while nausea isn't universal, fibromyalgia can cause a wide range of symptoms that vary from person to person. Several members offered practical strategies that have helped them, including drinking ginger and lemon tea, eating saltine crackers first thing in the morning, taking acid blockers before meals or at night, waiting to eat until the nausea passes, and checking for environmental triggers like household mold. A recurring theme was the unpredictable nature of fibromyalgia and the importance of experimenting with different approaches to find what works for your individual body.

The directions for acid blockers say to take them at 6am daily. One of my doctors told me to take them
one half hour before a meal. This worked for me... I take it at night before a snack or else I cannot sleep.

I feel nauseated in the mornings. I do not eat first thing in the morning until I feel I can handle food.
