I have eaten an anti inflammatory diet for a long time and it is truly a lonely life. I have had others say cruel things to me because of how I chose to eat. I try to do any thing I can to help the pain as I do not want to take narcotics if I can avoid them. This being shunned and ridiculed-I am 66 and surely when others my age and older act like teenager's-Better off alone and being lonely.
@A MyChronicPainTeam Member Not much to tell. For me it has been trial and error as to what foods cause problems. I avoid gluten/sugar/red meat/ dairy and recently learned that anything in the Nightshade family causes a flare in all disabilities. Is what it is and what helps me may not help another. Thank you for inquiring.
Oh yes there are so many haters out there; being sick is a lonely life. But I am really happy for those who have a robust life. I discovered things that I can no longer eat.....It does make the pain worse. I had to pay attention to what makes me nauseous and that was the clue....bread, eggs, milk, tomatoes sauce. I'm also allergic to flu shots. What a battle that has been to convince medical providers that I cannot have one.. TAKE CARE of yourself. Try ear plugs if necessary.. I have learned to enjoy the little things in life. I had to leave my family behind as they were abusive to me. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.
I have been on a vegan diet... Not sure what anti-inflammatory diet is. I did find a place that has kosher meat, it includes no antibiotics, hormones, carsenegens, etc! I have been on it a little over a month. It has helped big time with my IBS! I also ordered a drink from thrive market, (there is an app for them), Vega One. It has all the vitamins, minerals, prtotien, and probiotic that you would need for one day. I cut the amount in half since I am not an active person.
As far as pain is concerned, I have come to know that my life will never again b completely pain free! I do still take a muscle relaxer from time to time and I have learned about herbs, etc that are supposed to help control the pain. I get them from a local Amish store; however you can also find them online.
I can't take NSAIDS, and the doctors i n my area sticktly refuse to give out opioids. I am on Amatiza to help with my problems going to the bathroom, but i am ever trying to find natural ways to get around all these issues. I am still learning and doing research!
Hugs ! Hope everything gets better for u , You are definitely right in ridding your life of hurtful people , I have and it’s way more freeing and less stressful and better for u
Not on it yet, but going to start payday, when I can go grocery shopping. However, on the pinboard there are a couple of screenshots regarding this diet. It's basically clean eating, no gluten, sugar, dairy or processed foods. I know I'm forgetting something. If you have Google and do a search, it should pull up info on it.
Have a good day! Hugs😊
