I live in OKC, I go to Indian Health Services, due to financial hardship, been denied Soc.Sec.Disability, SSI, NO INCOME limits services, caused mental issues that only worsen daily, if I could find a pain management center, to document my spinal cord injury that caused my unemployed, doctors at clinic constantly tell me nothing can be done for my pain, nor Dr. Diagnoses, assessment, treatment plan to date.
@A MyChronicPainTeam Member, there has to be something somewhere that you could get help! What about shelters? I'm sure that they could direct you in the right direction! At least you'd be off of the streets! They will feed you a meal and give you a warm place to sleep! That has to be better than on the streets! Lots of good luck to you! Hugs!
@A MyChronicPainTeam Member, Iām so sorry for your predicament. My sister lived in Okla and had severe shoulder and back pain also denied SSI. She moved to Wa.state got on Medicaid and saw a specialist who helped refile SSI and put her on necessary meds. When she moved back to Okla. her insurance followed her for a year and she got on SSI. If you have a relative in a state that has Obamacare maybe you could try relocating for a while?
@A MyChronicPainTeam Member, my heart goes out to you! I can't imagine being homeless let alone homeless with chronic pain! There has to be somewhere for you to get the help that you need and deserves! Where you in the military? If so they have many veteran hospitals that will help you, and your homeless situation! I'll say a prayer for you tonight! Hugs to you!
