I will never go back to pain management all you are is a genie pig to them they don't know what is or isn't going to work and plus the last one physically held me down as I was screaming and crying for him to take the needles out of my neck. No way will that ever happen again.

Not sure about neuropathy but I've had my nerves in the lower back burned with Radio Frequency twice now. The 1st time lasted 12mths Wich is considered great. I needed a driver and had to travel 1 hour myself.
The pain for a few days can be worse then what your normal pain is. The 2nd time was much more painful & lasted a week.
It's worth it but I wouldn't go home after the procedure w/o pain meds.

I have Ablations ( that’s laser done to rods inserted in your pinched nerves) to kill nerves. It hurts for a few days after while the nerves are firing but then gets better for months. Eventually they grow back and you have to repeat. But if you have a skilled Anestheologist/ Pain medicine MD it can be very helpful for long periods of time.
