I’m curious to know has anyone tried this treatment and if so, how have they found it for treating chronic pain.
I know every one is different, but I’m trying to find out what ever I can about it and if people have had positive or negative results with it.
Thank you all xxx
Cymbalta
or generic dulexetine is supposed 2 help with pain & depression. I've been on it long-term & I believe it helps. Savella is also supposed 2 help with fibro. Check with doc though as overlapping meds increase similar side effects & can lead 2 serotonin syndrome. I just learned that most serotonin receptors are actually in the gut and not the brain. This was really surprising 2 me. Psych doc told me the gut is like a second brain. I was having a lot of gastrointestinal side effects. He was worried that it was an indication that I had 2 much serotonin in my system. Anyways, that has been my experience so far & sometimes I wonder if it is really the right choice. Everyone reacts differently 2 a med so it's basically trial & error. It feels like I've tried everything out there though. I can only use the brand name on Cymbalta & it is uber expensive. There is a variation of about 15% between different manufacturers & I'm so sensitive that the generic doesn't work for me. Hope this helps. Take care, Chris H

Thank you all.
I have been trying to research this myself and had read conflicting information, so its good to hear that it does help for some, always keeping in mind that everyone is different of course!
