I have fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis . I have read about
a heating liner or pad that goes under your bottom sheet.
Do they really work, are they expensive? Any advice?

Members enthusiastically encouraged someone asking about heated mattress pads for fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis morning stiffness, with the overwhelming consensus being that they genuinely help ease joint pain and improve sleep quality. Several members shared specific recommendations, including the Sunbeam Therapeutic Heated Mattress Pad with dual zones for customization, which can be found at retailers like Amazon, Target, and Walmart starting around $70, with practical tips like using a waterproof protector and turning it on before bed for maximum comfort. A recurring theme was the importance of staying safe by wearing clothes to prevent burns, keeping active throughout the day, and maintaining a positive mindset while managing chronic pain.

YES,
If you have a full or queen-size bed just get a twin you only need enough room to cover your space. They're wonderful I also have what you have + R A ,plus
I don't sit down except to Dr or if I have to sit down I keep myself busy all day and all night till I go to sleep make sure I get up frequently in the middle of night then start my day again you've got to think Positive, active.
Keep positive active people around you ask people to help!

I use a waterproof padded mattress protector over mine to protect it, plus a sheet. My dog has long nails, and it's doing just fine.

I had heated matress cover under my sheets, it was really nice. That was quite a few years back, but I guess they still make them. It was great to turn them on before we went to bed. They wore out andcwe just never replaced them. I think Sunbeam makes them.
