Members rallied around someone newly diagnosed with fibromyalgia who was experiencing intense altered sensations and flare-up pain down their right side, with many sharing that during flares everything hurts, from touch and wind to hair follicles, and that the pain can feel unrelenting and difficult for loved ones to understand. Several members offered practical strategies including medications like Lyrica and gabapentin, CBD oil, hot baths with Epsom salts, TENS machines, heat pads, acupuncture, and following spoon theory to avoid overexertion. A recurring theme was the importance of keeping moving even when it feels impossible, advocating with doctors about breakthrough pain, and finding comfort in a compassionate community that truly understands the invisible struggle of fibromyalgia.

@A MyChronicPainTeam Member your ignorance is unkind & not appreciated here...if you are too narrow minded to be able to be compassionate & show empathy, then you're in the wrong group! Your personal opinion about what ya think about peoples suffering, says a hell of a lot about the kind of person you are & thats sad!
