I am on day three of my St Jude/Abbott SCS trial, and it seems to be helping. My three goals are
1.to get 50% pain relief
2. To decrease pain med
And 3. To be able to sleep through the night.

Yes, I've had one put in, the Abbott or St Jude Stim. I had great relief until scar tissue is pushing it away from the area. Make sure you have great surgeons, be sure to be clear about the pain areas. I took a black marker and wrote on myself to show them. Since the scar tissue is interfereing, I have to have other treatments???
But I was excited with the results. If you have problem with scare tissue, you may have problems. Tell the doctor.

Hi, I have issues with scar tissue as well. They just put my on a medication that reduces scar tissue, I've had over 12 abdominal surgeries and I have gotten a lot of scar tissue.

Jen, that is amazing news about your friend! So happy to hear that he’s able to walk now! Gives me hope that this will work!

I had a friend who had this done and it was nothing short of a miracle. He was able to freely walk out of hospital without his wheelchair.
