Do you have an intern stimulator?
I do. I have been on it now for about 4 months.
From which provider?
Medtronics (love my rep ... always there when I need him)
How went the operation?
In and out in one day. Everyone at the hospital I went to was very helpful, explaining the process step by step. My Pain Med doc did the surgery. Took about 4 weeks for a full recovery, but was up and moving around (slowly and gingerly) that same night.
How many percents is the pain gone away?
I've gone from a constant pl 7 (with some 8s-10s mixed in) to a level 3!
Which abilities did you get back?
For me, it's all about my legs. Was using a cane and wheelchair. Have not needed either one since the implant was put in, save for a few time with the cane, only because we were trying different programs in the stim, to find out which one worked best for me.
Do you use less meds?
So far the only med I"ve cut back on is Lyrica, but I plan to start weaning myself off more in the near future.

Hope this helps.

Blessings.

I have had a spinal cord stimulator for 1.5 years. My life started again because the spinal stimulator allows me to sleep at night. Now I can sleep up to 7 hours a night without waking up. Previously, I couldn't sleep without waking up for more than 3 hours. Of course it alleviates daily pain by maybe 25-35%. The daily pain situation before the pacemaker was really severe was about 80% of the maximum value, or 100% = unconsciousness. However, I have not been able to stop all my medications, but I have been able to reduce them somewhat. I'm really happy with spinal cord stimulator, although even that is it from me healthy tea (of course I expected). My first spinal cord stimulator installation had to be renewed after half a year because of a broken cord. The newer installation didn't get as good as the first one.

Yes, i was one of the first to have one over 25 + years ago. Whilst ive had replacement units its been a godsend for me and allows me to have less pain everday than without it.

I had it on too. For me trial worked. When permanent implanted on 01/22/2016. It was causing more pain. It never helped me. When I had spinal fusion surgery, I requested removal..
