Have You Tried A Pain Psychologist ?
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Recently started seeing a Pain Psychologist!! After decades of PAIN, Stanford University offered me a Pain Psychologist. I thought how ridiculous but travel the 600 miles round trip for my 45 minute appointment which has changed my world of Pain. It doesn’t take away the pain. It doesn’t minimize the pain. But it does help me Deal with the pain in ways I never imagined. Did you know that 20 minutes of diaphoretic breathing ( belly breathing) a day for 5 weeks retrains you’re brain to deal… read more

Just FYI, tea tree oil is toxic for pets. I don't know if it affects children but would steer clear of it....at least this one oil.

I have done the EMDR to work on the locked memories (PTSD) from my sons funeral 27.5 years ago. I do not remember a thing after they closed his little casket and I screamed NOOOOO!!! My next memory is after I had eaten something? At the luncheon after his burial. I have been told I refused to leave the cemetary until he was buried. I was told that the man who covered his grave had never before or after had a family stay for that. But he saw my pain and could not refuse a young grieving mother. I just found this out 2 years ago, no one ever told me as they all believed I knew. My current minister of 10 years is who actually talked to this man and asked him if anyone had ever stayed when he entered the cemetary to watch and he said yes and told him where and described myself and husband as I sent my older (8) son back with family.
My psychologist who tried the EMDR on me is well reknowned at the U of MN for his success with EMDR. I am the only person he got no where with it. He said that it is too traumatic for me to let it loose. We tried for a year and for me it was terrifying and he would have to stop because of my trembling, my heart rate accelerating and sometimes my sobbing. Even these things I don't remember except trembling as we stopped. I am telling this because it is a great tool but just like most things does not work for all.
Now the deep belly breathing I was taught by a physical therapist and that is part of my daily regimen with meditation. It helps me keep my pl normally between 3-4 when stress is lower. It did help me this last weekend bring myself back up from my depressive episode.
God Bless All

Depak Chopra is an amazing man and author. I’ve read the book and know you will love it. If you have PTSD see a PTSD Psychologist who specializes in EMDR which quickly helps cure PTSD. Google EMDR as my explanation wouldn’t do it justice. It is tremendous in helping us with PTSD which often results in LAS. Best of luck and I for one would love to hear about it. I am glad you are in my team. A proactive person in your health. No one else can help you like you can Dear. Kudos

Hi @A MyChronicPainTeam Member, I would do some more research on the frankinsence oil, I would be VERY wary of buying ANY kind of essential oils, just because it's cheaper, unless you're using it for aromatherapy. AMAZON is not the place to go for this kind of stuff. They mislead the public into thinking they're getting medicinal grade oils, but their quality is equal to something you get at Walmart. They arent a very honest company. Especially towards people looking for a bargain, or just don't know any better. Just my opinion.🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
