Newspaper Articles Are Too Long To Post...
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone else trie to copy and paste newspaper articles that are too long to post? I had a Washington Post article from a doctor that I wanted feedback on, but it was too long. Any suggestions?

Blessings

Hopefully it's one of the newer MRI machines, they're smaller feels closer to ct scan , and the tube is wider not so claustrophobic feeling and much and I mean much quieter you barely need headphones, the new one I was in had music pumped out of the ear muffs. The older ones work just longer and skinnier no music. Take care 3hrs will pass like nothing. Good luck. Take care on your journey with chronic pain

@DarlaSilver, adding you to the prayers that are made every time yo cross my notifications...so keep this thread going!
Take extra meds to take after you get off the table. Do not take them before you get on the table, unless you can not stand the ride in. Take it an hour before you leave, then make it through the scans and take it as soon as you leave the table (and don’t be afraid to aka for a wheelchair!). Get some lunch and head home. Food with your meds...Let them put a pillow under your legs for the cervical an thoracic scans, but ask them to take it out for the lumbar ( you don’t stand with you knees bent! It will carnage the alignment of you pelvis and lumbar if the leave it in...this fro 20 years of the patient, and things not taught in school... we were always told to offer a pillow for comfort, but that is wrong! I say until they can get MRI at CT scans upright, they will not know truly what is wrong with our spines!

Be well Cheryll.

For those of you who know I don’t have health insurance and have had to rely on limited funds and any financial assistance available. Well I have an appointment scheduled for Saturday to get 5 mri’s done free of charge. I am so nervous and I guess I’m being negative when I say I’m afraid something will happen and I won’t make it. It’s an hour and half to two hours away and am relying on friends and family to see that I get there. I hope I can stand the pain of laying on that table long enough to get them all done. I’m told it will take about three hours. Ouch ! God give the strength and the meds to get thru it! I need it done so badly. I guess I will just have to stay on top of it and everyone to be sure it happens. Next step will be a pain management doctor with xrays and mri’s in hand so it will be more affordable. Just an new patient visit without all the test they would have charged me for. I’m told they start at $150 to $400. Pray it closer to the $150 mark.

You might be able to go to papers online article and just cut & paste then copy and then put on here. Don't hate me if I'm wrong it just seems like something that could be done in this new world of on-line news articles. Take care
