Be cautious with effexor, I took for a year 4 hot flashes, I missed taking it one day and had horrible side effects , I didn't know that just one day of missing it would cause such problems that I almost ended up in the emergency room. It took me three months to wean off of it.

I I use Imitrex and also am on Wellbuterine. Sp. It acts as a stimulant and shows up on a Drug Screen as a Amphetamine, so pain doc needs.to know you are on it. Both of these work well with me.
