Herniated Disk In Neck
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I supposedly have a herniated disk in my neck, not sure where, and it is pinching the nerve running down my left arm and hand. The pain is horrendous not only in the neck, but in the shoulder and arm. I can't sit, or lie down to sleep because either side bothers the nerve. Has anyone had surgery to correct this issue? The orthopedic surgeon I saw said no as I could likely become paralyzed. This has been going on for 3 years and I need an answer.

I was told about the same thing from a car accident. I am not Abe to turn y neck and are told not to do so. I was also told about the issue is it could become an emergency and to take care with y neck because one more injury To it. I take a Celebrex like drug which helps.

I am sorry I cannot help. I have bulging discs, but none are herniated.
