Members shared widespread disruptions to their medical care during the coronavirus pandemic, with many reporting cancelled or postponed appointments for pain management, routine checkups, and surgical procedures. Several members found alternative solutions including telehealth visits via phone, Zoom, or FaceTime, prescription refills to extend time between visits, and private clinics for urgent treatments like cortisone shots when regular pain clinics closed. A recurring theme was the anxiety and uncertainty of managing chronic conditions during lockdowns, with members expressing both understanding of safety precautions and deep frustration over delayed care that could impact their long-term health and mobility.

Please believe this is very very serious!! People are dying and many of us are in the at risk groups. Take precautions now. The medics are basing their response on science. This is not scaremongering. A close friend is in ICU now fighting for his life. Brings it home. Be smart now!
