A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Chronic pain patients are being forgotten about and punished with all these new laws and pressure from the government and states regarding opioid use
Chronic pain patients need help to get the medication they need. Drug addicts now use meth, heroin, etc. They no longer use opioids because they are so hard to get. Help is needed. I am so tired of being treated like an addict. I want my life back, I need help. Opioids is all that helps. Why should I and so many others like me continue to… read more

I'm on Narco, up to 3 a day and Fentynal 25 mcg patches changing it every other day. Used to be on the patches 50 mcg and the Narco but not being allowed to take as many a month. They gradually lower the patch strength so it wasn't a problem.

So you get Disability $715.00 right? Do you or have you appied for Social Security. I know where I live If you get disability well under 65 you can also get Social Security. Also you should apply for foodshare, medical assistants and mediaid most are though the state so check with Public Health Dept. I know how it is they except you to make it on nothing. I think their thoughts are if we starve them and keep them below poverty level. We will throw up our hand and say your right, you caught us we were just faking it and we aren't in all this awful pain. I can go back and work 2-3 jobs a day, no this pain, this pain has controled my life and than they ( government) think if we keep them down they will give up. We can't give up, there is nothing to give up. But we can fight, and that we can get really good at. Check out everything you are intitled to. Peace and love and a wish for painless days and nites

Agreed we are forgetten and TRUST ME the mental stress of worrying about your script for no reason feeling scared when you are an honest true person who has befallen a very very very rare spinal nerve and CNS disease.... is not fair and jf make the suffering and pain worse..... they have made people worse. My disease is my disease frankly id much rather be dead but i cant do that to my family... although they are suffering too.... so to all doctors out there TRUST ME id much rather not be here i know ill suffer forever i have an incurable disease okay and stop the BS. The fact these drug addicts have ruined my life more than it already is is unfair..... these people who are “former” addicts get 10x more medicine then people with documented chronic illnesses.... it is a disgrace and just like everything else the quiet small group of people suffering starring at the sky asking for help or when it will end..... we get screwed because others absued their bodies..... again honest suffering people suffer more..... and they wonder why people end up killing themselves
