I had cervical (September, 2022) and lumbar (November, 2022) fusion surgery for spinal stenosis. It appears that all the arthritic problems I had have somehow disappeared... I have some discomfort on the left side of my neck (muscles) but no pain. In my legs and feet sometimes electrical like sensations... still no pain. I have been told to walk 2 miles a day. Overall, this surgery was successful in that all my joint pain has gone. I can now stand and walk over 10, 20, 30 min..with no low back back, and shooting pain going down my legs. I can lift stuff again without back going out. I feel renewed... Rheumatologist wants blood work in three months to see what my inflammation indicators are at that time. Still being followed by my orthopedic surgeon.😀
