Outlets And Downtime?
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I would love to know what you folks do as an outlet, a healthy outlet, such as hobbies or activities, that help deal with loneliness, sorrow, depression, anxiety, and a reprieve from fear. I love playing outside, always have, but never really realized how important it was for me to get some days in the sun while I play. What are you do? Or what things do you do? :-)

I dip in the sea all year round. I do yoga, read, crochet and knit when I can. My dog is a therapy dog and of course she’s my therapy we volunteer with Greyhound rescue wales and also help a local charity . All with a caveat “when I can”

I watch funny stuff on TV. I pray for strength and less pain. Sometimes I read. I play w my pets. I like cross word puzzles and seek n finds. Helps me brain from stroke. Um, Mother Nature helps me feel peaceful, even if I just roll out front in my wheelchair. I do meditation. A warm shower is great. Wish I had a tub to soak in. I am starting to soak my burning feet in Epsom salts. I use heat and or ice. I know it's not much, but that's what I do 💛
