It is not commonly diagnosed but estimated that 1 in 20 women (in US) suffer from it but receive GI or GYN reasons for symptoms. Ironically most issues stem from multiple GYN surgeries. They DO NOT show up on any tests. Most diagnosed by another surgery or a good GYN during physical exams but the doctor MUST BE experienced.
