its hard to cope for sure. someone told me to try and find a therapist that specializes in chronic pain. telehealth/zoom is just as good then in person, if you cant really move.
outside of that, I'd try and distract yourself. watch a movie and do a puzzle at the same time, try watching a show you havent before. anything that'll keep your attention. its difficult sometimes to pay attention to anything but the pain, some days. but knowing what keeps your attention the best helps soften it all a little.

Don't think a spinal cord stimulator is automatically a failure.

I had my first one in 2007 never work right. Tried nothing but pain meds for 7 yrs until my Dr retired. Once I found a new Dr, he took images to see things for himself. First thing he asked me was "What happened with your stimulator?".
I told him it never worked right. Asked a few more specific questions about my pain and suggested my original one wasn't done correctly in the first place. He tracked down every x-ray from installation to the present. Took 2 yrs!
Nothing has moved or migrated... It just wasn't done correctly in the first place!

Well he got permission from the insurance and gave me a brand new one! Once he was done, it worked great👍🏻! It took other damage later to tank my life for the second time. That's all in my story if you'd like. I rewrote it to be more concise and readable.

In the end a growing relationship with Jesus Christ is the best thing I've got going. I really don't think I'd still be here without him.

Leaning ever deeper and harder on him is the best part of my chronic pain. I wouldn't be here without his help and support in my most difficult times.
