My doctor continually asks me the question " on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the worst, how would you rate your pain?"...blah blah blah. I finally refused to assign a number to my pain, however I chose to explain how the pain affects my daily activities, my mental health, my independence, and overall limitations.
I read off many items from a
list I wrote. The 1-10 pain scale is too subjective. I honestly don't think he cared, hence my search for another doctor.

Yep! Tylenol and Ibuprofen are their best friend. They think because it helps their tiny body ache it would do the same for my broken bones.
Oh wait, don't forget the weather change that puts most people like us in bed or hospital for days from 10 degree change. Another one they don't understand.

I always tell them it feels like trillions of bees stringing me, a hot cattle prod branding me, a trillion needles stabbing me while the bees are stinging me.
