Members rallied to help someone dealing with an uncomfortable heat rash from extreme heat, offering a variety of natural remedies and practical strategies. Several members shared tried-and-true solutions including cornstarch or cornstarch-based baby powder, calamine lotion, Benadryl cream, cold baths and compresses to reduce inflammation, and essential oils like peppermint, chamomile, lavender, and tea tree for their cooling, soothing, and antibacterial properties. A recurring theme was the importance of prevention through sun protection and staying cool, with members emphasizing that heat rash often occurs on first sun exposure and worsens with age, making proactive care essential.

The best advice I can give is corn starch, or baby powder made with corn starch rather than talcum powder! That works pretty well for me - plus Benedryl cream when the rash gets too bad.
