As a side sleeper, my shoulders and hips are usually sore in the morning, even though I switch sides during the night. Sometimes, when both sides are sore, I have no choice but to sleep on my back, which is when I must elevate the pillows or I stop breathing momentarily.
Please get checked for sleep apnea if you are stopping breathing in some positions, I also need to sleep on side and Judith's advice is fab☺️ (I do most of those things)
I also use a pillow with kinda cut out corners which helps before I get round to sleep apnea machine on instead of just my oxygen. Take care x

@A MyChronicPainTeam Member hello I am also a side sleeper and I have quite a thick Bamboo bed topper that cushions my back and shoulders and I have cushions under my lower legs and between my knees as advised by my doctor and I do sleep better with the air conditioning on at nighttime especially in the long 🥵 and humid Summers here in Subtropical Australia
