I'm flying to Seattle from Sacramento to go to a National Masters Swim Meet with my adult son. We will be there 6 days. 3 days are meets. Fortunately I grew up in Seattle and have visited recently. I know the area and transit. I am renting a car. We want to sight see, but I can barely walk a mile. I can't stand up very long. I have sciatica, both hips replaced and 4 rotator cuff surgeries on right shoulder. I'm 66.

It depends on what kind of trip. If it's a driving trip I have to get out and up walking every 2 hours. If you go to someone's house just let them know it's necessary to rest in the afternoon and do it or go home.
