My pain management doctor wants to put in a pain pump. What do ya'll think? Pro's and Con's. I haven't decided what to do. I need help please.

Did you ever get the pump?
My doctor wants me to have, but I can't find a surgeon to insert one.
My husband told me that Pres. Trump said he’d like to do away with half of all pain meds use! I’ve been on pain meds off and on from 21 to mid 30’s since I had received approx. 20+ surgeries in that time. Then 20 years ago ruptured L-4 and L-5, L-5 S-1. Pain was unbearable . I’ve been on them straight since then , Oct 21st at 1:10 pm ,1997. You don’t forget the date that changed your life. I’ve been treated like a drug seeker all my life on meds. Once and awhile you’ll find a dr who knows pain… read more

I take dilaudid and morphine everyday for my migraines but mine were caused from a traumatic brain injury and yes they do help
I’d love to hear stories about how people adjusted to a pain pump and how long it took to get the meds right. I’ve had mine for 2 years and still adjusting the meds in there! And what meds to you have in your pump? I currently have morphine and prialt but have had Dilaudid earlier in my journey. Anyone have a success story to share?
No, not yet. But I'd love to see those of you who have pain pumps tell their stories!
If it offends you. Sorry it's science. This is my life story all true if it offends you to read imagine living it.
