I'm for experiences with SI joint pain

I'm for experiences with SI joint pain

I'm looking for anyone's experience dealing with SI joint pain. I've had problems with my SI joints for years and I've injections & radiofrequency ablations done. At this point nothing is helping. I've had 2 lumbar fusions so I'm sure there's more stress being putting on the SI joints. The past few years have been really tough. 2 lumbar fusion surgeries. 2 hip replacement surgeries, 1 revision surgery on knee replacement and surgery to put in spinal cord stimulator. All… read more

Botulinum Toxin Injection

Botulinum Toxin Injection

I had this injection just the once but it did not work. Why is it done to the surgeon? I do agree I had to wait all day for the injection (Got to hospital by 7.30 went into theatre 4.30 then it didn't work!)
I was told that it releases the muscles and that is why they use it on peoples faces because it releases the muscles that cause wrinkles.
May have worked better on them than on my leg! LOL

Spinal steroid injections

Spinal steroid injections

I have been assessed at the pain clinic as a candidate for spinal steroid injections every six months. I have severe spinal stenosis on several levels in my lumbar spine.

Has anyone had these injections, and if yes, what are some of the side affects and also what are the positives?....I'm seeking a balanced picture.

Any information will be extremely appreciated!

Steroid shot in the back

I have spinal stenosis and my pain doctor wants to give me a steroid shot to see if that helps with the pain. I've heard to many horror stories and I'm just not too sure about having a needle stuck in my back. Thoughts?
