I took my first dose of neurontin last night for nerve pain. I became more dizzy than I have ever been in my life. Falling over and had to hang on to the bed. I was terrified. I have been dizzy often never anything in my life like this and it is still lasting almost 20 hours later, though not as bad. It was the lowest dose made. 100 mg. My doctor had me on 3 grabbys 3 times a day didn't stop or even ease the pain waiting on hospital appointment got a letter saying it's semi urgent, man love to see them put up with this pain I got another 12 week wait I've had steriod injections that did nothing as well. I'm just so ova it .

I do not know if the medication is even still working for my pain. I just am wondering if there are other meds for my pain due to some possible new side effects. Or is it affects?

I'm just the opposite I take 300mg twice a day. And I get lethargic with out them.
Lyrica has the same properties but 4x as expensive. But I think meds affect individuals differently. 🤔

Gralise are you feeling better? Are you sure it’s Gabapentin that’s causing suicide thoughts? I hope you’ve gotten some help and are in a better place.

I suggest a sleeping medication. A a 10 mg Valium
might help you sleep through the night. Good luck.

I’ve asked but I either get told I’m on the highest dose or I can’t take anything else due to my asthma! But I can’t cope with this amount of pain! I’ve even resorted to buying a copper n magnetic bracelet!! But so far it hast t worked but I’ve only had it on a week. All help greatlrecived

I go to a pain clinic, they get to know the patients and prescribe according to their needs.😀 I still have pain but it is much more Manageable than it used to be.
