I would say yes. I had a dear friend who had persistent headaches and her doctor kept telling her to quit smoking but did nothing else for her. Well, what was actually wrong was that she had an aneursym (sp?) in her brain and she dropped to the floor at work one day and died at the hospital. Had the doctor looked into it further I'm sure they could have done something sooner to save her. I certainly don't mean to scare you in any way but please find a doctor that will do an MRI for you just to be on the safe side. God Bless.
I'm sorry to hear you suffer so much. I had terrible migraines which I thought were hormonal. However, it turned out I have neck trouble and it was stemming from there. I saw an osteopath and within a few months of treatment they disappeared!!! I still get headaches as my spine has a curvature at the neck. Give it a try you never know, it could work for you. I hope you find some relief.
I would go to your doctor and tell him or her how bad things are for you and express your concerns as to what is the underlying reason...as there must be one!!! Don't be fobbed off! Be assertive! I know how you feel and I can never get a straight answer but I have moved house fairly recently. Therefore, I have a new Doctor so basically with all of my medical problems, Have gone back to the drawing board and at the bottom of everyone's waiting list. Anyhoo, never mind about me. Go back to your GP and don't leave until you're satisfied that you're getting the right treatment!!!! Good luck lots of hugs coming your way. I hope you get the answers you're looking for xx
MRI's can be a really good diagnostic tool. If nothing else it will rule out a few things and give some piece of mind. Hope you find some answers soon and some much needed pain relief.
