Has Anyone Tried Osteopathy For Sacroiliac Dysfunction (instability)?
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have tried literally everything else, apart from Osteopathy and surgery! Is it worth trying the former before going with the latter?

I was also recommended Pilates.

I destabilised my sacroilliac joint a few years ago. I went to a chiropractor but although it helped in the short term it wasn't a long-term solution. However, eventually I had a course of physiotherapy which really did help. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, so my joints are very flexible. This may have affected how well I responded to chiropractic though. I'd take advice from your GP and see what they say about your particular condition. Some people find it really helpful. Others not so much.

Hope you find some relief x

Hi Tidal.....Aw I know, it really sucks doesn't it. I get pain at the front of my leg rather than down the back, usually just below the knee and top of the leg. My hip also aches. The back issues are horrid but when the leg issues are happening as well, it's so miserable (and worse around the time of my period).....when are you getting your fusion?

I have leg pain as well. The shoot down your leg all the way under my foot. That I could live with that. The low back is miserable 😢
