Fatigue
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi

I have been suffering extreme fatigue for the past 5 weeks. I have never ever felt like this. I can't even drag myself out of bed of a morning. Anybody else have a sudden onset of fatigue. The only common factor I can think of is I started taking Palexia around the same time as well as Champix.

I see your iron B12 etc were normal. So were mine It was my iodine level that was severely low. Not usually run as routinectestvfor fatigue cause. In all my years of fatigue exhaustion etc only one doc tested it. Its worth double checking to see if it was done. Even as RN I didn't know about effects of low iodine & it can be much more than exhaustion. Hope you find out whats going on & get some relief. 😊💐

I take Palexia with Lyrica. It may be that the Palexia is making your pain more tolerable? Thus coupled with the massive sleep dept that you will have due to pain makes it that you sleep. As one of my pain dudes says "take sleep where ever and when ever your body wants"

Good luck and get some rest!

I have known a few people on Palexia, apparently it is the newer type drug. I was only on 50mgs. I have stopped it but still have the fatigue so not too sure whether this was the cause. Just waiting for sleep apnea tests to come back. I still have my thoughts that the Champix together with the pain medication is not a good mix.

Palexia! Finally someone else taking it! Unfortunately some people do get fatigue on it until your body adapts. Or maybe your dosage is too high? I take 150mgs and probably going ip to 200's soon. Its wonderful for me... I feel more normal.
Maybe you need to see the dr who gave you the script, and discuss your side effects.
