I had bad side effects with Lyrica, which was supposed to be my miracle-pain-relief drug! I was unable to concentrate during a conversation or (dangerously) while driving! I'd doze off mid sentence and then answer random questions that weren't even asked! Got off of that quickly!

@A MyChronicPainTeam Member I actually got off all medications except a muscle relaxer and a pain med. I feel way better than i did before. I did actually crash my car while on Lyrica. Thank God noone else was involved. I hit a parked car. I had taken Lyrica the night before and hadn't taken anything else. That's when i started questioning about Lyrica. Best thing i ever did was stop taking it. It does take a while to get out of your system, but for me it was well worth it

I took Lyrica, horrible! I take 400 mg gabapentin in am & 800 n pm. Helps some.

I'm taking them both in the Gabapentin seems to help a little bit better than the Lyrica

I used to take Lyrica. Started waking up in different places around the house and even outside. Didn't realize it was that medication causing all those problems. Once i stopped taking it i felt not only clearheaded but my pain level went down some. I know people react to different medications differently, and this is just my own experience. Just wanted to let you know how much better i felt getting off Lyrica and to just be careful while taking it. Wishing you nothing but the best 😊
