Well, sometimes new and younger doctors have more information at their disposal. I know our medical services are different because we live in different countries. I formerly worked as a nurse and am attempting to move further up. I know I would not be able to tolerate floor nursing but hopefully I can do something else.
Re-evaluation of meds can be a good thing as long as they only change one at a time. I always have a drug dictionary nearby to double check everything. Yes, the pharmacy will only give you what the Dr. prescribed. They will do one-day comas here, but Germany is generally the only place to be put into a 5 day coma. Not cheap... They have just introduced an implant that works on the dorsal root ganglion and it is made specifically for CRPS so maybe..
Have a good low-pain night.

No coma here
CRPS is just very painful, but no cure and ☺no coma.
The cannabis you have liquids, edibles, smoke, and vaping. I was reading yesterday that the doctor I'm going to they make soaps and such for ppl that are being treated for cancer. It is called something like end of life care . They use marijuana in the soap cuz the people can't injest food so the put meds in the soap to cut back there pain and sensitivity.
I go for my first appointment today to see how the whole mediacl marijuana card works .

Shan-I saw an article from July, 2016, when I googled Arachnoiditis entitled "New Treatment Gives Hope to Arachnoiditis Patients." Are you aware of this research? If not,You can read the article at https://www.painnewsnetwork.org
