Members shared widespread curiosity about stem cell treatment for chronic pain, with several having attended seminars or researched local clinics, only to discover costs ranging from $3,000 to $15,000 with no insurance coverage and limited effectiveness for older patients whose own stem cells are less viable. Several members offered practical resources, including clinicaltrials.gov for finding research studies, pharmaceutical patient assistance programs for unaffordable medications, and specific clinic contacts in Minnesota and Atlanta for those interested in exploring options. A recurring theme was the frustration of promising treatments remaining financially out of reach for those on disability or Medicare, with members expressing both hope for future coverage and resignation that breakthrough therapies often stay accessible only to the wealthy.

iF we were younger we could use our own cells. Now as elders we'd need to buy them, that's where the cost comes in. National pain site has a recent write up that fairly good.

I have been to several seminars on stem cells, unfortunately it is $15,000 up front then 4 injections and IV treatment at same time. I am going to see a different doctor at the Rejuv clinic in Waite Park Minnesota on Thursday to see what they have to offer. They have payment plans, if I can get back to work and my life it is worth any cost as long as I can pay monthly.
